The products include glue, latex, white powder, translucent beads and flakes. It has good thermal stability and can be dissolved in water in any proportion. The aqueous solution is a uniform and transparent liquid. There are specific differences between PAC and PAM:
1. Different flocculation mechanisms
PAC can flocculate because it forms a mesh structure after entering the water, which gathers small solid particles together. PAM can flocculate because it can break the electrical balance between small particles after entering the water, so that the solid particles in the wastewater gather together.
2. Different colors
PAC is generally available in three colors: white, brown and yellow. PAM is only white powder.
3. Different dosage
PAC is generally used in an amount of 200-300PPM, which means that an average of 200-300mg is used per liter of wastewater. PAM is generally used in an amount of 3-10PPM, about 3-10mg per liter of wastewater. PPM stands for parts per million, 1PPM=0.001%, and is generally used in low concentrations.
