The coagulant made of polyaluminium chloride will continuously produce H+ during the hydrolysis process, which requires sufficient alkali in the water to neutralize H+. In addition, the input amount also directly affects the treatment effect. If the input amount is insufficient, the suspended matter in the water is not fully destabilized, which will directly affect the sedimentation and separation, resulting in a decrease in the treatment effect. Excessive input will cause the particles to be overloaded and in an unstable state, which will also affect the treatment effect.

Before use, put polyaluminium chloride into the alum dissolving pool at a certain concentration (10-30%), inject tap water and stir to fully hydrolyze it, let it stand until it becomes a reddish brown liquid, then dilute it with water to the required concentration and add it for coagulation. Water plants can also prepare 2-5% for direct addition, and industrial wastewater treatment can be directly prepared for 5-10% for addition. The amount of addition can be determined according to the nature of the raw water through production debugging or beaker experiments to determine the appropriate amount of alum flowers. The water plant can use the amount of other drugs originally used as a reference. Under the same conditions, the amount of this product is roughly equivalent to that of solid polyaluminium chloride, which is 1/3-1/4 of the amount of solid aluminum sulfate. If the original product is a liquid product, it can be calculated and determined according to the concentration of the corresponding agent, roughly based on a weight ratio of 1:3.
