High purity White powder Polyaluminum chloride Pac used for
Papermaking Applications
**Sizing Precipitant:** Polyaluminum Chloride (PAC) can serve as a substitute for traditional aluminum sulfate as a precipitant in neutral rosin sizing. It maintains high efficiency under neutral to alkaline pH conditions, enabling the use of inexpensive calcium carbonate fillers—thereby reducing production costs, enhancing paper whiteness and fold endurance, and resolving issues such as the difficulty in controlling the sizing degree associated with synthetic sizing agents.
**Retention and Drainage Aids:** PAC improves the retention rate of fine fibers and fillers while enhancing the dewatering performance of the pulp slurry. This contributes to increased paper machine production efficiency, improved sheet formation, and reduced energy consumption during the drying process.
**Impurity Control:** Possessing a high positive charge, PAC acts as a scavenger for anionic impurities and resinous contaminants, effectively depositing these substances onto the fibers. This minimizes interference with paper machine operations and safeguards the quality of the finished paper.

Wastewater Treatment
Pollutant Removal: In the treatment of papermaking wastewater, Polyaluminum Chloride (PAC) facilitates effective coagulation and flocculation to remove pollutants—such as suspended solids and pulp fibers—thereby reducing Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and enhancing the overall wastewater purification efficiency.
